Directions to HEC Offices

Herbert Engineering Corp. has two offices. The main office is located in Alameda, California, and the east coast office is in Annapolis, Maryland. Please refer to the directions below for assistance in finding our facilities.

San Francisco Reservations is a company that makes reservations throughout San Francisco and the Bay area. They can be reached at http://www.hotelres.com, or call them at (800) 677-1500.

Annapolis is a tourist destination with many hotels. The closest airport is Baltimore Washington International (BWI), while Washington DC's Reagan National Airport is the next closest.

DIRECTIONS TO THE ALAMEDA OFFICE

From San Francisco International Airport:
  • Start out going West on ARRIVING FLIGHTS ACC towards AIRPORT EXIT by turning left.
  • Stay straight to go onto AIRPORT EXIT.
  • Take the US-101 NORTH/I-380 WEST ramp towards SAN FRANCISCO(I-280)/SAN BRUNO.
  • Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp.
  • Merge onto US-101 N.
  • US-101 N becomes US-101 N/JAMES LICK FRWY.
  • Stay straight to go onto US-101 N.
  • Take I-80 E towards BAY BRIDGE/OAKLAND/SEVENTH ST/(US-101 NORTH).
  • Merge onto I-80 E.
  • I-80 E becomes I-80 E/BAY BRIDGE.
  • I-80 E/BAY BRIDGE becomes I-80 E.
  • Take I-880 SOUTH RAMP towards ALAMEDA/AIRPORT/SAN JOSE.
  • Merge onto I-880 S.
  • Take the exit towards BROADWAY/ALAMEDA.
  • Merge onto UNION ST.
  • Turn RIGHT onto 7TH ST.
  • Turn RIGHT onto WEBSTER ST.
  • Merge into WEBSTER ST TUBE.
  • Take the immediate right after the WEBSTER ST. TUBE onto Mariner Square Loop.
  • We are located in the gray building to the left as you reach the curve in the road.
From San Francisco:
  • Take I-80 E.
  • I-80 E becomes I-80 E/BAY BRIDGE.
  • I-80 E/BAY BRIDGE becomes I-80 E.
  • Take I-880 SOUTH RAMP towards ALAMEDA/AIRPORT/SAN JOSE.
  • Merge onto I-880 S.
  • Take the exit towards BROADWAY/ALAMEDA.
  • Merge onto UNION ST.
  • Turn RIGHT onto 7TH ST.
  • Turn RIGHT onto WEBSTER ST.
  • Merge into WEBSTER ST TUBE.
  • Take the immediate right after the WEBSTER ST. TUBE onto Mariner Square Loop.
  • We are located in the gray building to the left as you reach the curve in the road.
From the Oakland Airport:
  • Start out going North on AIRPORT EXIT towards PASSENGER TERMINAL ACC by turning right.
  • Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto AIRPORT DR.
  • AIRPORT DR becomes AIRPORT DR.
  • Turn RIGHT onto HEGENBERGER RD.
  • Take the I-880 NORTH ramp towards DOWNTOWN OAKLAND.
  • Merge onto I-880 N.
  • Take the BROADWAY exit towards DOWNTOWN.
  • Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp.
  • Turn LEFT onto BROADWAY.
  • Turn LEFT to take the ramp towards ALAMEDA.
  • Merge into WEBSTER ST TUBE.
  • Take the immediate right after the WEBSTER ST. TUBE onto Mariner Square Loop.
  • We are located in the gray building to the left as you reach the curve in the road.

DIRECTIONS TO THE ANNAPOLIS OFFICE

From BWI Airport or Baltimore Area:
  • Take I 97 south to US 50 east (toward the Chesapeake Bay Bridge).
  • Take first exit after merging onto US 50 Exit # 23 for Maryland Route 450, Parole.
  • The Parole exit ramp has several lanes. Take the left most lane and turn left at the traffic light.
  • You will be on West Street heading East. Go about 1 miles through four traffic lights to 927 West St.
  • We are in a two story building on the right (South) side of the street opposite a large AMOCO gas station immediately after a three story cream colored brick building.
  • There is parking in the back of the building.
  • Facing the front of the building, there are two front doors. Our office is entered by the door on the right side. Walk upstairs. Our office is on the right.
From Reagan National Airport or Washington, DC:
  • Take US 50 East towards Annapolis.
  • Take Exit # 23 for Maryland Route 450, Parole.

  • The office is located in the World Plaza building at the intersection of Century Blvd and Pu Dong Nan Lu in the PuDong part of Shanghai. Use this handy 'taxi card' to have any city taxi bring you to the office.
